The National Union of the Algerian Organizations of Lawyers called on the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Lawyers Union to condemn the senseless and barbaric act by the Egyptian lawyers who burned the Algerian flag, saying this act is a shame to all the Arab lawyers.

• The National Union of the Algerian Organizations of Lawyers denounced strongly the underdeveloped conduct by their Egyptian counterparts, in the context of the hostile campaign by various Egyptians following their team’s defeat of the match against Algeria in Khartoum.

• Algerian lawyers are surprised by the involvement of their Egyptian counterparts following the campaign against Algeria, although they are supposed to be the intellectuals who must use their wisdom and reason.

• “They are supposed to be the prestigious social class”. The union Algerian Lawyers said”.

• “Attack on the symbols of the national sovereignty and the burning of the Algerian flag in the streets of Cairo, by Egyptian lawyers, is an excessive brutality and hostility by the Egyptian defense body towards Algeria and its symbols and sovereignty, thinking that it would reduce the role of Algeria and the role of the Algerian defense body in the international level”.

• The Algerian lawyers blamed the Egyptian authorities, considering it the sponsor of normalization and the holder of the sale of Arab dignity and honor to the Jews, as their statement said; “The lies and misinformation campaign by the various Egyptian horns, reveal their intentions and hidden hatred for all what is Algerian because Algeria is proud and strong like a wall which block all the Egyptian attempts, that are working to carry the Arabs and Muslims to become slaves of the Zionists, killers of the children and elderly in Gaza strip and other regions”.

• Algerian lawyers called on their Egyptian counterparts to examine the history of the Arab wars against Zionism, in order to discover Algeria’s role in the liberation of Sinai desert, which was opened with the blood of Algerian’s sons, and the rest of the Arab countries, which defended Cairo before it became a Zionist province. Did you forget the day when the Egyptians called us crying and shouting “Cairo is fire and smoke…?”
